ATTACK on TITAN(Season 1)
Tetsur Araki directed the first season of the Attack on Titan anime television series, which was created by IG Port's Wit Studio with character designs by Kyji Asano and series composition by Yasuko Kobayashi. It covers the initial plot arcs (chapters 1–34) of the Hajime Isayama manga. Because of the Titans, massive humanoids that prey on humans, humanity is forced to dwell in cities encircled by high walls in the planet of Attack on Titan. The plot centers on the exploits of Eren Jaeger and his childhood pals Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, whose lives are irrevocably altered when a massive Titan scales the town's defenses. Eren and his comrades join the Scout Regiment, an elite organization of warriors that battle Titans, swearing vengeance and to take back the world from the Titans.
Because of the Titans, massive humanoids that prey on humans, humanity is forced to dwell in cities encircled by high walls in the planet of Attack on Titan. Eren Jaeger, his childhood pals Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert, whose lives are irrevocably altered after a Colossal Titan breaches the wall of their hometown, are the main characters of the plot. Eren and his comrades join the Scout Regiment, an elite organization of warriors who combat Titans, swearing vengeance and to take back the world from the Titans.
The Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina are three 50-meter-tall walls that have encircled human settlements for more than a century. The Titans, enormous humanoids that devour mankind, are kept out by these barriers. Eren Jaeger compares city life to raising livestock, so he joins the Scout Regiment in order to explore the outside world. The gate to the Shiganshina District, which is on the border of Wall Maria, is abruptly knocked down by an unexpected figure, allowing smaller Titans to get through. Eren and Mikasa race home to find Carla pinned beneath their fallen house as the town descends into widespread fear. Carla begs them to run as a Smiling Titan approaches, but they won't leave until Hannes, a city guard, shows up and promises to protect them. But as he approaches the Titan, he becomes terrified and drags Eren and Mikasa away. Carla is devoured by a Smiling Titan as Eren watches in terror.
Hannes apologizes to Eren for not saving his mother, admitting that Eren and Mikasa are still young and vulnerable, and that he was scared of the Smiling Titan. Some people of Shiganshina District elude the military' efforts to repel the Titans by escaping to the inner Wall Maria. As the troops try to shut the gate, the Armored Titan rams it, breaching the inner Wall Maria and forcing the inhabitants to retreat even further into Wall Rose. Eren later experiences an unusual dream in which his upset father forcibly gives him an injection and his key before Mikasa wakes him up. Eren is angry with the residents of Wall Rose because they won't share their food or homes with the migrants. The government orders the immigrants to either work on the farms or defend Wall Maria as a food crisis develops over the course of the following year. About 250,000 people, or 20% of the population, choose to fight, but the Titans destroy them all. Eren enlists in the military and swears revenge alongside Mikasa and Armin.
